Abstract

We are pleased to present in this issue of the Peruvian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics topics to the attention of women in our country. The symposium's second issue of 2008, written by renowned experts in the field, refers to the menopause and menopause, which is followed by original papers on cryopreservation of embryos on the third day of development in vitro-work that shows us the progress in human reproduction in Peru, HELLP syndrome-entity in apparent increase in our country, malaria in pregnancy ─de importance to preventive take to the summer of 2009 measures, for 2.5 million people live in areas high transmission risk and very high incidence of malaria and tends to a recent increase (1) - and notes the consensus on the management of polycystic ovary syndrome in women with infertility.
