The term Krukenberg tumor metastases should be reserved for those containing significant amounts of signet ring cells with intracellular mucin production and diffuse sarcomatoid ovarian stromal reaction. This limitation is important because tumors with these microscopic characteristics also have macroscopic pathologic features and clear clinics. Almost all have metastasized from the stomach, although some come from the breast, bowel or other organs that contain glands mucosas1,2. The aim of this study is to provide data to the national casuistry presenting therapeutic clinical, diagnostic, and prognosis of this tumor.Downloads
