Historical memories: the puerperal care in past centuries.

At present, the scientific knowledge is changing so rapidly that, every five years preceding obsolete. Midwifery is no stranger to these changes. The concepts we had about some topics, just over twenty years ago to leave medical school, are different today. A simple example concerns the management of postpartum women, both those who have had vaginal childbirth as those that have undergone surgery.
