Treatment of Dysmenorrhea

Abstract

It has made a comparative study of two groups of patients who had private clients syndrome primary, essential or idiopathic dysmenorrhea, with similar characteristics as regards the syndrome itself, age and marital status. The first group of 20 acientes underwent treatment with the combination of a diuretic, an antispasmodic, a sedative, an analgesic and potassium. The second group of 20 patients also underwent treatment with an oral anovulatory. It has been found that in the first group were obtained sarisfactorio results in 60% of cases, acceptable in 40% patients in well-regulated and 80% failure or poor results in patients with irregular cycles. In all these painful demonstrations they turned once treatment is discontinued, so you should consider this method as a good treatment of symptomatic type.
