Abstract

The fact that we could study at 33 months of work cervicovaginal exfoliative cytology 13.062 women carrying IUD. In a limited area of Santiago, said real possibility of detection of genital cancer in a group of apparently healthy women but loaded with conditions predisposing etiopathogenic cancerization neck. In this group we found 2.2% of abnormal cytology (2%. Pap Pap III and 0.2%. IV and V). During this time we had one false negative cytology and have proven histologically displosias 15, 20 Ca in situ and 9 invasive cervical Ca.. The woman is protected from unwanted pregnancy must be simultaneously the evolution of chronic benign cervicopatía a neck carcinoma, especially when itself meets one or more of the conditions aetiopathogenic contributors to this process.
