Placenta Previa

176 cases of placenta previa occurred in 39.478 births, ie 1 case in 224 births is reviewed. He predominated in women with 4 or more births, presenting in 73% one bleeding episode. Placenta previa was central total 56 cases (32%). The birth was by caesarean section in 63.6% via body type in 57.5% of cases, complicated with endometritis in 19% of patients. The two cases of maternal death (1.15%) occurred in the first years of work. The perinatal mortality rate was 9.09%, predominantly in infants, prematurity remains a major factor in 12 of the 16 casesDownloads
