In September 1955, the first issue of the Revista Peruana de Ginecología y Obstetricia (RPGO) was published, official publication of the Sociedad Peruana de Obstetricia y Ginecología (SPOG) under the Presidency of Dr. Eduardo Aguila Pardo, being Director de la RPGO, as he was named the Editor, Dr. Lucas Molina Navia and co-Director Dr. Victor M. Bazúl.
