It was necessary that the debate has run all eternity for the world's population to reach one billion in 1800. From that time, the population growth begins to accelerate, requiring only 130 years (1930) to replicate and reaching 2 billion and just 45 years (1975) to become a double and reach 4000 million people. 20 years has passed since then and the population has reached more than 5000 million and will require only another 5 years (2000) to add 1 billion; which it means that at the beginning of the third millennium, the world population will, according to forecasts established in 1986, just over 6.5 billion.Downloads
