Abstract

One of the most important problems of modern obstetrics is the accuracy of the assessment of fetal welfare conditions in both the antepartum period and childbirth, with the main objective of reducing perinatal morbidity and mortality. Auscultation of fetal heart rate has been used since the beginning of the century as a means of assessing fetal conditions, which is the most successful to control the conceptual product during pregnancy and delivery method.
