Abstract

The analysis of our health figures show high rates of maternal mortality, perinatal mortality, induced abortion and maternal malnutrition. Alongside these figures, it highlights the minimal brain damage, with sequence of poor fetal nutrition, intrapartum anoxia and / or malnutrition in the stacks p months postpartum life. An organic formula for the approach of this program could be the extension of existing programs to comprehensive maternal care programs for women and the definition in this program of a sub program targeted high-risk obstetrics care. Underlying the sub program that the highest risk is concentrated in a small group of mothers who accumulate most of the mortality and anesthetic-surgical resources. It seems reasonable to build technical and human resources quality in those patients subject to greater risk.
