Abstract

The specialist has always feared urological complications of radical surgery for carcinoma of the cervix. The classic form; of these complications is necrotic ureteral fistula. During the early years it occurred in over 10% of cases, and even today we find such figures held by some surgeons; although most have decreased. To this classic form today adhere others whose origin is the lymphadenectomy.
