Abstract

Radioactive colloids, gold and phosphorus chromic for interstitial application or carcinomatous acitis have produced significant relief; manuabilidad of the current plastic materials, and the short half-life of several radioactive isotopes have allowed a better estimate of the dose. As for the application of methods of diagnosis, they are constrained by the possibility of producing radiation damage, and much emphasis is currently placed limiting radiographic examinations to the minimum possible in the ovaries, especially in pregnant women.
